Today was the first real open day of TechEd Europe and we had a lot of people in our booth and we were well prepared for all MCTs that came and talked to us. We saw many of you in the booth (Which is located in the Community Area, next to Xbox Kinnect) and no less than 27 new members signed up!

Also a great announcement that the first MCTECT (MCT Europe Certified Trainers) graduated this weekend, giving us a total of a additional 12 new MCTs in Norway!

Many of you have asked about the next summit. It will be decided on at our board meeting at Thursday, and you could expect the information beeing communicated some days after that!

See you in the MCT Europe booth tomorrow!

Today have been a busy day for many of us at MCT Europe, preparing our area in the exhibit hall at TechEd Europe in Berlin. We have been filling our bean-bags, preparing computers and loads of other stuff. Right next to our stand is the MVP stand and the Xbox Kinnect station! Tomorrow the exhibit will open at 12AM and be open until 8PM. During the later evening (6PM and later) there will be the welcome reception with snacks and mingle. Please go by our booth and lets talk MCT!

Today was also the annual MCT Dinner arranged by Ronald Beekelaar and there was a great turn-up even if we missed some of you there. We had a bus going from the south entrance of the Messe to the restaurant. After a failure of the driver to enter the area we had to go a bit, some took the s-bahn, and we all arrived at the restaurant. There was traditional german food and loads of interesting discussions about everything from MCT to MOC. Thank-you to all who where there!

We have now after vote in the board of directors decided by a majority decision to change our plattform to facilitate a quick launch. This decision is made to make sure that we are ready to accept members within 2 weeks.

It will however still mean that we will continue to develop the SharePoint server that have already been started for our website to provide specific functionality. The new system is a out-of-the box SaaS service providing registration, event management and a website.

The vote have not been formally closed and not all board members have cast their voice however there is a majority already for this decision and we are trying to get everything up and running as soon as possibly why we already have moved to the next step. Exact presentation of votes will be made once voting have closed (in two days).
